RepairsFridge van and reefer trailer repairs, on the vehicle.

Repairs are done on the vehicle. A home-delivery van, a rigid, a 40ft trailer. Say the make, where it is standing, and whether it is holding temperature.

Retro-fitRefrigerant retro-fit. Old gas recovered, the unit stays or is replaced.

Ozone-depleting refrigerant is recovered and sent for disposal under F-Gas. REFCOM F-Gas certified.

  • The existing unit, with a current drop-in refrigerant and an oil change

QuestionsAsked on the phone.

Do you repair fridge vans and reefer trailers on site?

Yes. The engineer comes to the vehicle with the recovery, vacuum and charging equipment, so a home-delivery van, a rigid or a 40 ft trailer is repaired where it is standing, on the M1 corridor from Leicester to Sheffield.

Which transport refrigeration units do you work on?

Thermo King, Carrier Transicold, Frigoblock, GAH, Hubbard, Zanotti and Schmitz Cargobull units, nose-mount and undermount, single and multi-temperature, diesel drive and electric standby.

Do you issue a calibration certificate?

Yes. On a maintenance visit the temperature recorder and the unit are checked and a calibration certificate is issued for your cold chain records.

Can an old refrigerant be retro-fitted?

Yes. The ozone-depleting refrigerant is recovered and sent for disposal under F-Gas, and the unit is either re-charged with a current drop-in refrigerant and an oil change or replaced with a new unit. Artifis is a REFCOM F-Gas certified company.

Do you do HGV cab air conditioning?

Yes. De-gas, repair and recharge for truck cabs and construction plant, done at the yard, the depot or the quarry.

Where do you cover?

Leicestershire to Sheffield and the M1 corridor between them: Leicester, Lutterworth, Loughborough, Castle Donington, Nottingham, Mansfield, Chesterfield and Sheffield. If the vehicle is standing off the corridor, say so on the call.
